Dr. Brian Asalone has been helping South Florida see better for over ten years. After graduating from the University of Maryland College Park in 1997, he went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry Degree at Nova Southeastern University here in Fort Lauderdale.
After graduating in 2002, Dr. Asalone had the opportunity to work with the Department of Veterans Affairs, a service he continues to this day.
Dr. Asalone is committed to providing quality eye care to the community. He is available for comprehensive eye exams, contact lens exams, red eyes, and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease.
A comprehensive eye exam is more than just a prescription for glasses or contact lenses. It is a complete examination of internal and external eye health, including testing for cataracts, glaucoma, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Many eye diseases and conditions can be detected with a dilated exam. In addition, systemic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, HOV, Lupus, and cancer can cause changes or damage to the back of the eye. In some cases, these diseases can be detected before the patient is aware of the condition.
A comprehensive eye exam evaluates all aspects of your vision to ensure eye health and clear, comfortable vision throughout your day.
